Andrea brings event, marketing and project management services to her clients in a variety of industries. Drawing on her 20 years of experience helping companies strategize and implement projects, she is passionate about supporting companies with initiatives and events that help them accomplish their goals.
While completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Andrea worked for a start-up Internet security software company, launching new seminars and promoting new products, facilitating presence at large industry events and employing marketing tactics to increase participation in the companies’ initiatives.
Andrea then moved to a publishing company, launching newsletters in the telecommunications industry, overseeing multiple direct marketing campaigns simultaneously to increase subscriptions.
Andrea has developed extensive project and event experience in the aviation industry while working for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and through her company, Anber Agency. With AOPA, she led a variety of initiatives including launching a campaign to grow the pilot population (“Let’s Go Flying”), marketing products and services for pilots, and overseeing the events department which produced the annual convention. Since launching Anber Agency, she has provided program direction and logistics management for the Flying Aviation Expo and the RTCA Global Aviation Symposium, and has worked with other organizations on marketing and event projects.
As a convention producer, Andrea has overseen city-wide contracts totaling 6,000 room nights, marketing campaigns to attract 12,000 attendees, exhibitor marketing and management for 500 exhibit booths and programs with more than 70 speakers.
Andrea has produced events from beginning concept to completion including: vision development, strategic planning, overseeing and accepting input from a planning committee; conducting surveys and focus groups; overall event design to maximize the customer experience, managing vendors; creating and maintaining project implementation plans; attendee, sponsor and exhibitor marketing campaigns, and event production and operations logistics.
